As the battle over the Waqf Amendment Act of 2025 rages across India, a glaring contradiction has emerged within the Muslim leadership spearheading the so-called “Save Waqf” movement. These very leaders, who claim to fight for the sanctity of waqf properties, have consistently kept their personal and family wealth far away from the waqf system. Their rhetoric is loud, their press statements dramatic, but their own records expose a deep-rooted hypocrisy.
**The Unholy Truth: Trusts Galore, Zero Waqf**
Let’s look at some of the most vocal names in the current “Save Waqf” campaign:
* **Asaduddin Owaisi (Deshpande family)**
* *Number of personal/family trusts*: 7
* *Number of properties under Waqf*: 0 
Imarat e Sharia too from Wali Rahmani’s times has personal wealth under a Trust not Wakf.
Shahi Imam Ahmed Bukhari of Shahi Jama masjid Delhi has personal farm house at Sainik Farms & has a trust in the name of Jama Masjid
* **Maulana Mahmood Madani (Tandawale family)**
* *Number of personal/family trusts*: 22
* *Number of properties under Waqf*: 0
Maulana Kalbe Jawwad too has all his personal family wealth under a trust not Wakf. He sits on the largest Wakf lands illegally.
* **Omar Abdullah (Bhut family)**
* *Number of personal/family trusts*: 7
* *Number of properties under Waqf*: 0
Maulana Vastanvi too had his medical College under a trust not Wakf.
These are not isolated names. These are the dynastic icons of Muslim political and religious leadership in India. For decades, they have held power over Waqf Boards, sat in parliamentary committees, advised governments, and shaped public perception. They’ve been the face of Muslim institutions—and the custodians of public Islamic wealth.
**Waqf for the Poor, Trusts for the Powerful**
Waqf, by definition, is meant for perpetual charitable use—schools, orphanages, masjids, hospitals. It is public wealth held in trust for the community, especially the needy. But for these leaders, waqf is merely a political tool, while their personal properties are shielded in private family-run trusts. These trusts allow them full control, inheritance, and immunity from public scrutiny—something they deny to common Muslims fighting for access to waqf lands.
**The irony?** These leaders claim the Waqf Amendment Act is a Hindutva conspiracy to ‘loot Muslim land.’ But what about the fact that they themselves never contributed to this very system they now claim to defend?
**Waqf Board Members Since the 1970s — For What?**
These same families have had members on Waqf Boards since the 1970s. One would assume they would lead by example. Instead, they led by manipulation—turning Waqf into a political fiefdom while building private land empires protected under other legal mechanisms.
Madani’s Jamiat offices sit on prime land. Owaisi’s empire in Hyderabad expands every year. Abdullah’s trusts in Kashmir are flush with resources. None of this land has ever been brought under Waqf—despite being led by men who made careers as self-proclaimed defenders of Muslim institutions.
**A Question Every Muslim Must Ask:**
**Aap bhi poochhiye**:
* If Waqf is so sacred, why don’t these leaders donate even a fraction of their land to it?
* Why does the poor madrasa student depend on decaying Waqf land while the cleric’s son studies abroad funded by “trusts”?
* Why have these leaders turned Waqf boards into tools for political appointments rather than instruments of community welfare?
**Conclusion: The Time for Accountability is Now**
The Waqf Act is not the only thing under review—the integrity of those claiming to save it must also be scrutinized. If you shout “Save Waqf!” with one hand and register family assets under private trusts with the other, then you are not a savior—you are the reason Waqf is collapsing.
This movement cannot be led by men who built personal wealth on the back of public silence. It must be reclaimed by those with nothing to hide—and everything to give.
*Let the truth reach the common man. Let the hypocrisy be exposed. Only then can Waqf truly be saved—not for politicians, but for the people.*

मुस्लिम पर्सनल लॉ बोर्ड के अराकीन और लगभग सभी मुस्लिम नेता को खुद क्यों लगता है वक्फ से डर? वे खुद अपने लिए ट्रस्ट बनाते हैं और बात करते हैं वक्फ बचाव, वक्फ के लिए पत्र लिखो, बत्ती गुल करो, मानव श्रृंखला बनाओ और वक्फ को बढ़ावा दो। क्योंकि जवाब है इस वीडियो में!

वक़्फ़ का मूल उद्देश्य समाज की सेवा है, लेकिन इन नेताओं ने वक़्फ़ को राजनीति और प्रचार का हथियार बनाया, जबकि अपनी संपत्ति उन्होंने ट्रस्टों के जरिए सुरक्षित रखी। ट्रस्ट से उन्हें पूरी मिल्कियत, वारिसों को अधिकार, और सरकारी जांच से सुरक्षा मिलती है।
**विडंबना देखिए:** यही लोग वक़्फ़ संशोधन को मुस्लिमों की ज़मीन हड़पने की साजिश बता रहे हैं, लेकिन खुद एक इंच ज़मीन वक़्फ़ को नहीं दी।
**1970 से वक़्फ़ बोर्ड सदस्य—किसलिए?**
इन नेताओं के परिवार 1970 से ही वक़्फ़ बोर्डों में रहे हैं। फिर क्यों इनका निजी और पारिवारिक ट्रस्ट कभी वक़्फ़ नहीं बना? क्योंकि वक़्फ़ से सेवा नहीं, सत्ता चलती है।
**अब आप भी पूछिए:**
* अगर वक़्फ़ इतना पवित्र है, तो ये नेता अपनी ज़मीन क्यों नहीं वक़्फ़ करते?
* मदरसे में बच्चा फटे जूते पहनता है, और नेता का बेटा ट्रस्ट के पैसों से विदेश में पढ़ता है।
* वक़्फ़ बोर्ड सिर्फ राजनीतिक पोस्टिंग का अड्डा बन चुका है, क्या इसका जवाब कोई देगा?
**निष्कर्ष: जवाबदेही ज़रूरी है**
अब सिर्फ वक़्फ़ क़ानून नहीं, बल्कि ‘रक्षक’ बनने वालों की भी जांच होनी चाहिए। जो वक़्फ़ के नाम पर सत्ता में हैं लेकिन वक़्फ़ से कभी जुड़े नहीं, वो अब सवालों के घेरे में हैं।
**सच बोलो, सवाल पूछो – क्योंकि अगर आप आज नहीं बोले, तो कल आपकी आवाज़ भी छीनी जा सकती है।**

وقف ترمیمی ایکٹ 2025 پر شور شرابہ جوں جوں بڑھتا جا رہا ہے، ایک کھلی حقیقت سامنے آئی ہے۔ “وقف بچاؤ تحریک” کے دعوے دار مسلم قائدین نے اپنی ذاتی و خاندانی جائیدادیں کبھی بھی وقف کے تحت نہیں رکھیں۔ وہ جو وقف کے تحفظ کی بات کرتے ہیں، خود ہی اس نظام سے کوسوں دور ہیں۔
**حقیقت پر ایک نظر: کئی ٹرسٹ، لیکن ایک بھی وقف نہیں**
آئیے اِن سرکردہ رہنماؤں کی حقیقت دیکھیں:
* **اسد الدین اویسی (دیشپانڈے خاندان)**
* ذاتی ٹرسٹ: 7

* **مولانا محمود مدنی (تندوالے خاندان)**
* ذاتی ٹرسٹ: 22

یہ وہی لوگ ہیں جو دہائیوں سے وقف بورڈز، پارلیمانی کمیٹیوں اور مسلم اداروں کے سرپرست بنے بیٹھے ہیں۔
**وقف غریبوں کے لیے، ٹرسٹ طاقتوروں کے لیے**
وقف کا مطلب ہے عوامی فلاح، لیکن ان قائدین کے لیے وقف محض ایک سیاسی ہتھیار ہے۔ ان کی اپنی جائیدادیں ٹرسٹ کے ذریعہ محفوظ ہیں جہاں مکمل کنٹرول، وراثت، اور احتساب سے آزادی حاصل ہے۔
**افسوس کی بات یہ ہے:** جو خود وقف کے نظام کا حصہ نہیں، وہی اس کے ٹھیکے دار بن کر عوام کو دھوکہ دے رہے ہیں۔
**1970 کی دہائی سے وقف بورڈ کے رکن — مگر کس فائدے کے؟**
یہی خاندان 1970 سے وقف بورڈز پر قابض ہیں، مگر کبھی اپنی جائیداد وقف نہیں کی۔ مقصد خدمت نہیں، اقتدار تھا۔
**اب آپ بھی سوال کریں:**
* اگر وقف اتنا مقدس ہے تو یہ لوگ اپنی زمین کیوں نہیں وقف کرتے؟
* مدرسے کا بچہ پھٹے جوتے پہنتا ہے، اور لیڈر کا بیٹا ٹرسٹ کے پیسے سے بیرون ملک تعلیم حاصل کرتا ہے۔
* کیا وقف بورڈ صرف سیاسی مفاد کا اڈہ بن چکا ہے؟
**نتیجہ: جوابدہی ضروری ہے**
اب صرف وقف قانون کا نہیں، بلکہ ان رہنماؤں کے دوہرے کردار کا بھی محاسبہ ضروری ہے۔ جو لوگ وقف کو بچانے کا نعرہ لگا کر خود اپنا دامن بچا رہے ہیں، ان کا چہرہ عوام کے سامنے لانا ہوگا۔
**اب خاموشی نہیں چلے گی، سوال کیجیے، حق کا ساتھ دیجیے—ورنہ کل آپ کی آواز بھی چھین لی جائے گی۔**
